I have always liked Japanese culture and have several small terracotta soldiers around the house so armed with some terracotta clay I decided I'd make my own. First I used Zbrush and a graphics tablet to model the soldier, then added an armature for posing in blender, also using cycles to render. I later used clay to sculpt him in real life, he makes a great ornament! Here my documentation of making the 3D model, Renders of the 3D model and real pictures can be seen.
